Dairy Units
 
  1. WHITE CATTLE MILCH ANIMALS = Breed – Jersey cross
    HF Cross.

  2. CALVES
    White cattle = Heifers
    Bull Calves

  3. BREEDING BULLS = HF

  4. WORK BULLOCKS
    We have two pairs of work bullocks for the assistance in the fields.
Systems of rearing is semi-intensive system/Indoor Housing (Face to face system). Dairy Milk production is about 200 Liters per day. Each cow producing an average of 10 liters per day. We distribute the milk to ROEVER HOSTELS located at various places.

The dairy unit to be increased to 150 milch animals and the production milk is to be increased to 2000 liters/day. We have proposed to have a chilling plant and to distribute the milk through pockets initially to the sister concerns of this Trust and later to the public of Perambalur area.
 
 
Sheep Units
 
We have the sheep unit with the size of as follows
  1. Ewes : 100 Nos.
  2. Female lambs : 27 Nos.
  3. Rams : 5 Nos.
  4. Male lambs : 15 Nos.
System of Rearing is free – range system / Semi – intensive system. The unit is going to be increased to 250.
 
 
Piggery Units
 
We have a Piggry unit with modernized shed and the population of animal is
  1. Sows : 10 Nos.
  2. Female Pigglets : 5 Nos.
  3. Boars : 4 Nos.
  4. Male Pigglets : 2 Nos.
The System of Rearing is semi- intensive system. The unit is to be increased to 250.
 
 
Poultry Units
 
We have Poultry shed with deep-litter system having the capacity of system. System of Rearing Deep-litter system/ indoor Housing.

This Poultry unit is going to be increased to 500 under deep litter system. System of Rearing is Deep-litter system / indoor Housing.
